Nubworks custom A2W IC piping, Linder Power System couplers
so, Justin came down to Speeding-G60 Race Team HQ today and we spent the whole day redoing the entire boost piping, utilizing Linder Power Systems custom couplers.
we welded onto the turbo compressor outlet, the A2W intercooler inlet and outlet, even cut off and welded on to the throttle body.
it was a longish day of fabrication and welding, and it looks kick ***. i had a MESS of little horseshoe shaped niblets of aluminum pipe laying around when i was done from the constant nibbles and cuts, etc. and Derek showed up three or four different times throughout the day to avail himself of a TIG machine and offer thoughts on the days proceedings. all inputs are welcome and give extra views when stuff like this happens.
THANKS JUSTIN!!!!!
had a fat 3 lb Rib-Eye lunch and beers along the way. when welder comes to you, then feed him you must!
and now to push this even further into the 9's with the new BW S400sx 67mm Billet FMW.... last dyno (63mm BEP turbo) was 737Awhp and 568 wtq @ 40psi.

and this is the coupler and how it works....

Hmm those are pretty neat, just sucks that if one were to have an issue the pipe would have to be cut to get the ring off. What kind of car is this? Everything looks nice.
they have play in them, and are NOT solid like a v-band.
and this car is an Audi Coupe Quattro, fastest/quickest Quattro (AWD) 4cyl in N America.

and, they are rated to hold 150 psi, as well.

We have the solution!
3" and 4" Aluminum Intercooler Couplers are a weld on design and are capable of holding pressures in excess of 150psi! Thats alot of boost! These couplers are manufactured out of aircraft grade aluminun and have an easy thread together design that allows up to 5 degrees of flex without a leak and without failure!
Available in Raw Silver or Anodized Black

I've been running the Linder couplers for 3 years now without a single issue. I have them from the turbo all the way to the Throttle body. I'm running an S372R at 45+psi consitently.
Aaron, there's this crazy invention called a mandrel bend that bends around things without a million pie cuts. I can send you a link
Looks good though. You gonna tnt next weekend?

yaya. funny thing. i ordered a 45 and a 90 mandrel bends, in 11 ga. charged out my *** and waited three weeks to end up receiving 16-18 ga parts. was pissed off!
so i took a long radius sweep i had and made it work. the cuts were only ~80% of the pipe. it was a hard double plane dual 45 plus S-curve too, in a very short distance. its cool and its done.
mine isnt done yet, still waiting on a few things plus a new window net. i wont be coming for the opener up there.

Fab work looks great though, sucks about the order. Would have probably looked nicer with bends vs pie cutting.

oh i know of them, and they are close enough to run out and get them. i have been out that way before.... its actually about 1/2 hr West, in St Helens. last time i was out there i was getting some SS 1.5" and 1.25" tube and bends.... for radiator / coolant piping stuff.
funnier yet, i have 45 and 90 in the lighter gauge stuff already here. thats the salt in the wound the place i ordered from made LOL.
its all good, its done and getting some of the welders plates welded on.
