looking for a possible headache... or not.
I'm bringing my R in for a maintenance at the dealer this coming week. What should they look for ?
the car just broke 30k miles and has been driven hard and I'm going to Limerock in Nov.
I just want to have additional ideas on what should be looked at...
Other then the obvious
Thanks!

[QUOTE]valve adjustment, fuel filter change, as well as what yoshi mentioned.
Exactly what Yellow Blur said. Valve adjustment, especially if car has been driven hard. Oil change (if not done already) , check, brakes, tranny, shift linkage. Also change your tranny fluid.. Good luck, Acura will wack you for at least $300.. Good luck..

What front pads and brake fluid are you using?
Stock won't last long and could make for a miserable overall "track" experience, especially down the "diving turn" onto the front straight.
Just a thought.

Heres the deal I have a few warrenty items that need to be taken care of and I want them to look for anything else that might be a warrenty item that could be replaced before it goes bad.
I have or will do the basic chit like oil, pads etc
just looking for the "out of the ordinary" items that might be a headache

Cool, just checking.
When I did Mid-Ohio the first time I didn't go full bore down the back straight till near the end of the first day.
Warranty items?

I do my own maintenance. Unless the job is way beyond my knowledge and ability I wont take it to anyone.

I know not to let anyone work on my car I do everything myself, but ... I'm just looking for the unknown when I arrived at 30k miles.
Thanks.

what I'm looking for is people who have passed 30k miles and have warrenty claims. Or anyone with knowledge of warrenty items that will go bad or the possiblity of going bad near or past 30k miles.
Thanks again.-Rob-

as for your OT question try a search or just click on this: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=293617
its hard to believe you actually let the DEALER touch your car...unless its warranty parts they dont know crap...
and if you have mods done they will be a royal PITA stating the mods void the warranty
like a muffler will blow and engine or something like that
