What is the easiest way to change a door, on a 1998 DX Coupe. The door on the car now is smashed and I got a replacement that is the right color for cheap. Do I pull the pins like in a house door or do I need to take off the hinges. I also need to change the lock over. Does anyone have any experience with this?

 

Just unbolt the hinges from the door and pull out the small pin and thats it as long as you have no power options. Sorry I dont have a detailed DIY on the door lock, that is a little more involved.

Its pretty simple, theres four bolts on the hinges. If you need to use the hinges from the new door you will have to take off your fender to get to the hinges.

Its hard to explain how to switch the locks over but its not hard to do. I would suggest you put the doors next to each other and take off the door panels. You should be able to figure out how to unbolt the mechanisms and switch them over, nothing too tricky to it no specialty tools needed.
