i noticed today that my speedometer is bouncing around and is clearly not being accurate il be going at least 35 or 40 and it will be at 25. somtimes it will seem accurate but still bounce around when on the gas, once i let off the gas it drops. what could this be?

 

does it bounce even when u arent driving?


and have you messed with the cluster any? like changing bulbs or anything? maybe its loose... my buddy painted his needles red a while back and it loosened it off the 'support'. he pressed it down and it worked

 

no it only will bounce every now and then while moving, i noticed that it is probually 10mph below what it should be at after driving tonight. and i havent touched anything on it i just bought it a few days ago
