If the tyres are directional have they been put on correctly - I got a set fitted only to find when I drove it out of the garage that they had put one of the directional tyres on the wrong way! Check that the arrows on all tyres point in the direction of forward.

If your alignment was off before, your tread could have worn unevenly left to right. If they are slightly different diameters now, that would explain it.
Also, go out and test it sometime on a road that you know has no bank. A straight freeway would be perfect. Take your hands off the wheel at 80 and see what happens. Just to make sure you're not just feeling the effects of the road.

my brother took it to our mechanic just a while ago and tested it... our mechanic told us that we need to change the wheel bearing.. i don't trust that guy but heck still paid him $40 for that..
is that true that 2 front wheel bearing needs to be changed?
and could anyone tell me how much for those and the labor?
thanks..

If one wheel bearing was causing drag, that would be a good explanaition. Also, score points to your shady mechanic for finding it.
Not sure about the cost.

yes, they are expensive (one went out on my bretta).
seccond, there was a tsb about the prelude pulling to the right. It has something to do with a error desining the powersteering pump or something along those lines. It only effected a year or two, I know 92 for sure, but I dont remember the rest. Very similar to the error with the shift fork (grind into 5th), that only effected some people. I saw it on hondaprelude, before it died.

Hey, I found this on Consumer Guide: "Steering problems: The car may drift to the right on flat roads due to a faulty spool valve in the power steering system. (1992-93)"
Here's the address: http://auto.consumerguide.com/auto/u...76.htm#trouble
It's in the 'Trouble Spots' section. Hope this helps

My .02 is that you do the wheel bearing and not the steering thing. I don't know if my steering rack has gone faulty, but my car pulls to the right, and it's so faint I sometimes don't notice it at all. Sometimes I can take my hands off the wheel on the freeway for almost a quarter mile.
yup, thats how mine is too. Just barely pulls to the right. It could be a lot of the roads are just slanted that way for snow melting and rain...ect.. though. Usually if I put 3-4psi more in the right tires it evens out.

The alignment of your wheels will be set to allow for this as all roads like a slight camber to allow water to run off the road (to left in UK/Japan and right in USA/Europe). The wheel alignment may need set correctly for all 4 wheels - also note if you drive a JDM motor that it MAY be set up for driving on left hand roads (like us in Northern Ireland) and you will need to set the camber/caster/toe up for the USA spec. Not all vehicle manufacturer would do this by the way.
