hey whats up everybody? so new project just picked up have a94 prelude h23 non v-tec when the car is cold the idle jumps up and down but what it warms up it idles fine any ideas? had an older eg civic that did that when it was low on water but this one is topped off and help would be great thanks>>>!!

 

Search for honda idle issues. There is something right under the tb that controls your idle when cold before the FITV takes over when it's warm. I can't remember all that stuff..lol

Now that I have had a nap, I think I see a mistake I made. Still search for "honda" "idle" troubleshooting, but I think the FITV actually ISSSS the cold idle controller..I think the IACV takes over when the engine reaches a certain temp.

Or just search: honda fitv iacv, and whatever page shows up will tell you all about it and most pages tell how to check proper operation of the two.
