Default In-car Video and update on the website

So, we did a little test and tune on my new project. We had a great start and promising season. I also promise we will have more updates throughout the year on the website, so keep an eye on it! There is a fast in-car video. Check it here: www.prima-racing.com

Nothing better than to hear the doppler effect coming from an S2000 engine.
Good luck this year Andrie.

Watching Andrie's vid makes me wonder why no one has brought a fully developed S2000 to H1 nats...Andries car is stock engine, weighs 2700+ I think, and was on street tires and ran a 1:58 at thunderhill with bypass...probably good for high 1:55's on toyos...just wondering why folks are not developing these cars for H1...

I THINK John Oldt has built his S2K as close as one can to the extent of the rules in H1. He lives on the east coast and has been to every Nat'l championship at Mid-O. I believe Helms has helped him with his engine build and other things on the car. In '06 & '07, there were several S2k's at nats, but don't know how extensive they were built to the rules.

Rob Walker has been hitting under 2:00 at BW with street tires for few years. now several other s2k drivers are also sub 2:00 at BW13CW. s2k rocks as a platform. they are also getting cheap now. we see them for well below 10k all the times at auctions.

no way is it gonna do high 1:55's on street tires. Hangkook RS3's are not much slower than RA1 or R888, maybe not slower at all. Andrie, what do you think?

err, digressing too much from Andrie's post. lets leave his thread alone. it should be about s2k's.

Toyo probably about 1 second faster to 1.5 second faster. The thing though, on a race, the Toyo will be much faster in the beginning as it gets to temperature within a lap, or just your warm up lap. The Hankook will take about 4 laps to be really fast. So, the first 4 laps, the Toyo will be 2 seconds faster per lap, after that, only 1 sec a lap.
