Hey folks, I have a 03 accord sedan and want to remove the back speaker panel for woofers, does any one know any aftermarket kit for a trunk shock as I will need to remove and cut a hole in the panel to fit the 10 inch wooofers I plan to put in place.

no... you are going to have to modify something and make your own using a hood strut more than likely.

OP that may require a lot of work. I don't think there is room for a shock body, like other OEM trunk system that uses it (thinking about a Chevy Colbalt as reference). Not to mention some drilling and metal fabrication.

Just to throw out ideas, the trunk does have counter balance weights. Not sure exactly where it is on a Gen 7. You may want to play with that, if you are going to remove the springs.
