Default Out of Ideas hopefully you can help

Hello,

I am hoping somone can help with my issue my build is below.

LS vtec 85mm Darton Sleeves
Arias Pistons
Eagle Rods
Gsr Cams/Skunk pro series cam gears
walbro intank fuel pump/rewire
Golden Eagle intake manifold
Top Mount from SLS
precision 6262
Precision intercooler

As you can see the motor has had time put into it the thing runs good for the most part but here is where i get boggeled.

When I drive the car around town it seems to be perfect Idles at about 900-1000 rpm ( I have it set there).

But randomly I hear a buzzing sound coming from the intake and it seems to be the IACV. The car then wants to idle at 1500 rpm or a bit more. I tap the gas pedal and rev it to 3-4000 rpm and sometimes the idle will drop again to the normal 1000 rpm range.

I looked at the IACV to see if it needed to be cleaned looked pretty clean already.

I dont get why this happens at all. I am not running any coolant hoses to the IACV not sure if anyone really does (lol)

Please help if you know of a fix.

Aren't the coolant lines just to keep the iacv from freezing? I don't know where the op lives but mayy not need them.
Take the iacv off and bench test it. Apply a 12v source to the solenoid and check for proper operation. If its all good reinstall and make sure your getting 12v positve to one terminal, the negative path comes from the ecu.
To check the neg you'll need a stethascope.

Also have you set the base idle with the iacv discconected?
Also you could ohm out the coil in the Iacv, I don't have the specs with me.
