Default Alternator Light Fliker

Hi I just replaced my alternator and everything is working good, but sometimes when I tap my brakes or push the clutch in the battery light comes on for a split second. I checked all of the connections and all are tight. What is it that makes the battery light come on, is it in the alternator?

What causes this to happen.

What kind of alternator did you use? If your cables and connections are good, the alternator was probably crap right out of the box.

I got the alt. from napa, and it works good the lights on the car don't dim or anything, the light just flashes once in a while.
