does it do it when you turn also? does it pop it rapid succession or just occasionally? if it pops quickly and somewhat quietly sounds more like your cv boot is torn more than anything else to me. if it sounds more like a clunk then it would be bad suspension bushings somewhere. i had a missing sway bar bushing and never heard anyhting to suggest it was gone. i saw it was gone while replacing the struts. remove the wheel and look behind the knuckle where the half shaft runs through it. if there are any tears anywhere on that rubber boot its time for new halfshafts. better to get them both replaced at the same time. i think you can take your old ones to honda and trade them for rebuilts for about $100 a shaft. never done it so i don't know for sure, just heard you can but you know how that can be sometimes.

its a 94 lx, stock springs with tokico blues..just got them a month ago...the popping noise was there be4 this setup..and still contiunes...it sounds like a clunk too and the noise disappears until i slow down.. and it clunks again...

one clunk per slowing down and one per accelerating...
the sound doesnt come when turning...
