95 ls into 89 hf help!!!!
Doing obd0 to obd1 from hf to ls on an 89 crx i need a wiring guru!! What harness do i use and how do i go about it please help its my only car and my hf motor is going out on me 45% blow by on a 62 horse i cant get anywhere!! Help would be much appreciated all i need to know is how to do the wiring
EDIT - just noticed that title says 95 LS, so you need to make some changes to the HF harness - you still need to use the HF harness
You can use obd-0 injectors from an ls and they'll plug-n-play (cause obd-1 ls uses saturated injector which require no injector box), yet your hf comes with a injector resistor box cause It uses peak and hold style injectors, using the obd-0 ls injectors will make thing much easier, no wiring needed just unbolt fuel-rail install the obd-0 ls injectors and be done and just use a obd-0 Ls (pr4) ecu along with a obd-0 ls dizzy, it'll all just plug-n-play and your done, keep it obd-0 If you don't want to deal with the stress of wiring stuff up...If you still want to go obd-1 then you'd have to eliminate the inj. resistor box, you'll also be using a jumper harness for the obd-1 ecu, and jumper connectors for the distributor, this will be confusing but not too hard to tackle if you wish to go this route....just "GOOGLE" and do your research...don't expect to get spoon fed with everything, Its how all of us learned...don't forget once you swap In the obd-1 ls engine, there might be a few sensors that'll need to be added to your hf harness like on IAT and so forth on the intake manifold....good luck !
for the most part, it will plug in - a lot depends on what year LS engine you have - in any case, swapping to OBD1 will require you to either rewire the distributor connector or purchase a distributor jumper - depending on which injectors you use, you may need to eliminate the injector resistor box - if the engine was from OBD1 or OBD2 car, you will need to rewire for the cooling fan switch and the MAP sensor (the MAP connector is not on engine harness but still needs to change) - OBD1 is also going to need 4-wire O2 sensor - going to B-series, you may have to lengthen the wires for the back-up light switch

No mods need to be done to the HF harness except some extending

i have everything obd1 dizzy, ecu, im buying the 2 jumper harnesses but i was just unsure it i should cut the harnesses and put the ls connectors on the hf harness or if it will plug in im also going to have it BARed so i wanna do it legit and i have done alot of research on google and www.in.honda.com which i have access to all honda/acura ETMs and repair manuals my wiring skills arent top of the line tho and so i wanted some advice from guys that have done this before im just unsure about the connectors and harness changes
would have been easier if you got an OBD0 PR4 and OBD0 dizzy.... cheaper in the long run and the correct setup. All the sensors plug into the HF harness (Except the purge solenoid or w/e it is, use the firewall one you already have), so it would have been a drop in and go deal.
Are you aware that you will have to change knuckles to an si,ex,dx or integra? This also means new rotors, pads, calipers. The hf hubs are too small. Also you will want to purchase a hasport shift linkage. Stock hf doesnt fit to trans and integra linkage has to be cut to fit.
I just got done doing a b18a1 swap into my hf and realized its the worst crx to do an initial swap into.

My apologies lol I was thinking of my swap with a 91 ls not a 95.
you can use your same harness. just de-pin the distributor plug and put in the obd-1 plug and the same goes for any other connector and the map will connect on the throttle body. i m running a 89 dx to 94 ls that way and u can take out your resistor box and use the common ground block from the obd1 ls

and the ground block you referring to is actually a power source. you dont have to swap out any other connectors, they will plug in just the same.
hey im ganna drop a 96 b18b1 in to my 90 dx hatch dpfi does any 1 know were i casn find a wire up diagram for the fuel injectors , and wat i would have to do to the wire harnes for it to work i have a jumper harnes already
