WTF??? 15 sec 1320
I used my friends G-tech the other night and was only able to pull a 15.19 with the setup in my sig, with a half tank and a 100 lb system that in trying to sell. The time seems real bad because I was hopeing for low 14's. I am guessing I need to work on my launching because my speed was at 96 mph at the end of the run. Ive only had this setup for about a month so Im not used to launching it and Im not much of a straight line racer any ways. Any advice that could be offered would be great, please no flame jobs, its just a simple question.
as far as i'm concerned, the only way to get real track timeslips is to go to a real track....
the timeslips are used for more than just 1320' time. with more data, we can more accurately pinpoint what you need to work on
peace~

actually, they are pretty accurate, if you know the wieght of your car and are running in ideal levels/atmosphere...
i tested one once at the track after weigh in and it was only off by .01 consistantly

Yeah I figure its the combo of my bad 60ft time and the fact that it is the Ghetto Tech. With a trap speed (if that is the right term) of 96 it should be in the low 14's shouldnt it?
Trap speed of 96 is a mid 14 with a decent launch.
As far as a 15 second 1/4 I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen a couple of 15.1-15.2 second gsr powered hatches. It's all driver so just take it to the track. But if you put the motor in right and it's in good shape, low 14's is about right.
