Anybody know where I can get my hands on a new rhd manual rack and pinion
And inner tie rods for a 96 civic hatch?. Besides custom ordering from japan. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Try Pride Performance which is here in NJ. While I do not want to put in an advertisement for them, they have worked on my car which is not RHD but do deal with Skylines and other RHD cars.

finding a brand new RHD steering rack would be difficult but you can definitely get a used RHD one and change inner and outer tie rods

Most JDM importers can get you a used one. If you want new your best bet is probably to get one from the UK since their civics were also RHD and there's no language barrier.

For what it's worth though those racks really don't fail very often.

 

@Phat00civic thnks Ill be sure to call them tomorrow @94eg8 yeah the car hit a patch of ice drove over a massive curb and f'd the steering an ****. If I cant find anything stateside I might have to try Jpan or UK.

Thanks dumafit unfortunatly matt was unable to help. Because he does bulk orders and that would be considered a part he doesnt deal with. Was worth a shot though.

As a matter of fact, yes... The only one on there for a '96 is hydraulic, but if he checks often a manual might pop up. Or he could send his for a rebuild if the down time on the car isn't an issue. Have a look.

No, not unless you have the subframe to go with it. You can use a manual rack on a power subframe with some minor modifications but not the other way around.
