Default engine mount problem :(

so im installing a gsr into a del sol

and when i got the motor it didint have mounts on it it was from a ek

it had this bracket on it .

so i have this bracket from another d series. with the spears and the 3rd bolt to bolt my mount to it . i just removed the old bracket and it was a 3 bolt onto the engine and the new bracket (one that works with my mounts ) is a 2 bolt and only 1bolt will line up into the engine

Get the correct mount. Don't HALF-*** a swap.....especially motor mounts.

Chalk up $70+ and get this mount and (2) studs:

my question now is tho . i have to get different mount then ? this is a obd2 gsr so my odb1 mounts wont work ? like even the spacing is different. now this sucks because i just took off the mount lol

Don't throw a D-series mount on there with just one bolt. The weight of the engine/tranny will be too much and the motor will drop. Fixing a damaged motor mount hole isn't cheap.

Don't take my advice the wrong way. I'm just saying it as is.....because there are too many folks on this forum that want answers quick but don't want to bother looking for them. When I first did my swap back in '01 (yeah...that's been a while), most people didn't want to lend a hand with advice/tips. It's almost like they're afraid you might come back and race against them or something. Stupid ****....I know.
