So my sol has had 185/60/13's, then two nights ago I blew the front right tire and the front left was showing wire. So I decided to change em. Just my luck no one had my tire size... So i wen't to the only store that had em, and after I got my car back, I noticed they put 155/70/13's on my front tires.. I was in a rush so I didn't take a look, then I noticed them after i got out of class. So I wen't back and asked them why they did that, and they said they would fix it. After I get my car back, they swapped my front tires with my rear ones... -__-* And i just GTFO'ed because I was already late for work...

Is it that big of a tire difference where its gonna screw me over (I plan to get new wheels in 1-3 months)

And where should I put the smaller (155/70/13) Tires? Front or Rear?

You shouldn't run smaller tires period. You should make that shop either put the correct size on, or refund you. You agreed to something, and they gave you something else.

Seriously, go back in there screaming. Demand to talk to the manager. If they don't fix it, talk to your local BBB.

the tires are 0.92% difference in overall circumference. i wouldnt recommend running different sized tires, but its pretty close. id make them change it out for correct tires myself. you can compare tire sizes here: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp it gives you good info on different tire sizes and whatnot.

 

I can't even get a tire in 155/70R13..... as stated above, the diameters are close enough to where it should not be a safely concern, but the narrower tire will have less lateral stablity. I'd do as recommended and make them give you the right (matching) size or give you a deal on a matching set (original size is 175/70R13)
