Default 2000 Civic B18b1 Turbo w/ Speedo Problems..

2000 Civic ex B18b1
DSM EVO Turbo

I just bought this car and Speedo worked 100%
well the Guy/Kid I bought it from had Wires ran EVERYWHERE for Guages, Amp, Fan.
He had some guages ran but not working, so I got new guages (Cause the guages he had were nasty)
Took old wires out so I could run my own.
I may have taken a wire out that was for the Speedo I don't know.
Only loose wire I could find is ran by the alternator up through fender through door.
Speedo just stopped working, I hit dash nothing, took apart cleaned and checked for loose parts nothing.
I bought a new speedo and will try that to see if its broken.
But if there is a engine swap does there need to be a new wire ran to the speedo??
Help lol I don't know much about wiring.

If it worked before it should have worked later. Retrace your steps and check you wiring to be accurate

I tried doing that but man if you would of seen all the wires that were just Hanging? He had wires for Guages, Wires for Amp and Speakers, Wires for the Fan, Wires for god knows what, Wires not going to anything.

The only Wire left is a red wire thats in the engine bay that is sautered to a bunch of other wires, them wires are ran to stuff, the red wire is ran up through the fender to the door but stops?
I don't know maybe its a ground I was messin around with the Fan today cause he used way to small of guage wire and the wire melted...

Anyone that might have ideas please help, I can put pics up if it helps right now I have most of the dash taken apart..
Car runs great and quick just can't tell how fast I am going lol.

I just Bought a Brand New Battery last week and it already is about dead so something is not right? So Hopefully that wire just needs grounded or something for the Altenator?
