Car goes into gear, doesnt move..need some help guys!
So Ive been searching and searching about what others have said about the same issue I am having, no one seems to update their threads with their solution, so I am posting here now..
We have a CRX with a completely stock K20z1 and stock trans using the Hasport Cable-to-Hydro conversion(scissor type). We recently took the car to Sebring, everything was running great, clutch felt great and everything until the last couple laps I noticed the engagement was slowing down and the clutch was not engaging as fast. After that we pulled the car back into the pits, made sure all of the Hasport kit was still engaging the shift fork, and everything seemed to be working as normal. We went to pull out of our pit to test it again and the car would not move in any gear.
We can now put the car into ANY gear with the motor running and have no grinding whether the clutch is pressed in or not.
So we pulled the motor and pulled the tranny off and from what we could tell everything "looks" fine. Its almost as if the clutch is being kept seperated from the flywheel regardless of the clutch pedal position, the clutch is just completely shot, or we have something going wrong internally, thats what Im trying to figure out. I have seen different stories on this from being a bad clutch/pressure plate(ours was stock) to something internal in the transmission.
Things we checked:
Does anyone have any tips for us? We just installed a Competition 11lb Flywheel and 6puck unsprung clutch. I just want to make sure if there were any other problems I didnt know about before putting the transmission and engine back in the car. Should we open it up or should we just put it all back together and hope the new clutch fixes it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Things we checked:
- Axles seem to be in good shape and were not popped out or broken.
- Throw out bearing seamed to be working correctly, although could stand to be re-greased.
- No noticeable damage to the pressure plate/clutch, but I dont know what a "worn" clutch looks like. (Ill upload some pictures tomorrow)
