Default What Muffler to go with? (Deep Tone)

I want to build an custom exhaust, but I just cant figure out what muffler to go with.. Magnaflow is considered rice, due to its raspiness.. what else should i go for? I want a similar sound like Greddy EVO2 / Thermal R&D

Suggestions please? Thanks!

Youtube.com. Search for civic exhaust and pick what you like. I love my WS2. There are "What exhaust should I get" threads made on a weekly, if not, daily basis.

I heard that Magnaflow mufflers have a deep and throaty tone to it - on a D16 that is. I've never actually heard the exhaust but that's what i've been told.

Youtube can be a little misleading because some of those car`s have an upgraded i/h. The exhaust is going to sound different on a stock motor than it would with the upgraded i/h set-up.

i got a stock setup d16 and if you want to go the cheap route like i did, i got a simple knockoff N1 muffler for $30 and i really like the sound. similar to a ralley car/subaru tone.

I have a Comptech cat back and it sounds fantastic. I barely even notice it when I am cruising around, go WOT and its there. Deep sounding.

Go with a turbo for your muffler, it really quiets things down

flowmaster 60 series is nice from what I heard, a little larger, more muffle.

Indeed.

There's nothing in here that pertains to 92-00 civics in particular.

This topic has also been beaten to death, there are a number of resources stickied in the subforums here highlighting exhaust notes.
