Default loose steering wheel??

I have a 97 Teg just replaced my Axels tires and brakes....my steering weel is loose while driving and when I turn it tightens up. I did not do an alignment when I did this stuff but had it done before. My tie rods looked a little messed up when I changed the Axels. Any ideas? Tires were balanced when switched

Would the tie rods cause that?

So if we say no does that mean you won't change them?

Check the tie rods, lower and upper ball joints. Also, check for torn bushings.

Then maybe you might want to fix ALL the deficiencies pertaining to the steering system then?

Do this. Replace anything that's loose. Get an alignment.
