Cable Tranny Adjustment
I own a 1988 CRX DX and im wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the tranny linkage? I just bought the car yesterday as my daily driver and it seems like the cable needs to be adjusted.Any help is appreciated.
clutch cable or actual shift likage?.. likage may be loose.. jack up the car and tighten the bolts holding the shifer... if it is the cable.. turn the **** near the tranny tightened or loosened

Well when I drive the car or when I put it in gear its hard to go into the gear but it does'nt grind at all. Also I dont hear the release bearing either. So im thinking that maybe instead of replacing the whole clutch I think it may need to be adjusted the cable so that the pressure plate will get a better grab on the disc.
there is a small **** by the tranny (where the clutch cable connects to). turn the ****, and it will adjust the release point for the clutch. check the linkage as well though, make sure it's all nice and tight. a set of polyurethane bushings for the linkage makes a nice difference in feel as well.
