Default 96 EK CX to b18b1 swap wire issue

swapping a 96 b18b1 into a 96 ek cx, moajority wiring is pretty self explanatory. i've done my homework and keep hearing that the idle air control wire is an issue. well that plugged right in, so im not concerned with that. im using a 96 civic ex manual trans wire harness, with a p75 manual trans ecu.

the only difference i am finding is that the crank sensor on the b18 is a 2-wire plug and the ek-ex harness is a 3 wire plug. my next concern is the secondary o2 sensor doesnt have a plug available due to it being run through the floor on the integra and ek-ex models. any quick fix for that? i am not stepping down to obd1. this car is a stock daily with cats equipped. any help of guidance would be appreciated, thanks.

Yea i have 2 of those, problem being there isnt a plug for the secondary o2 sensor on the ek-ex engine harness. Is there a way to wire it directly ito the ecm?

Also im going to assume that the ckp wire bypass at ecm should correct crank sensor issue. Person for whom the swap is for wanted it 100% original, purist

Car is a 96 civic cx hatchback, swap motor is. 96 b18b1. Wire harness being used is from a 96 civic ex. Everything is pnp with the exception of the crank sensor and lack of plug for secondary o2 sensor. Reason for using vtec harness is leavig the possibility of swapping head in the future

Is your engine JDM? If so it doesn't have a CKF sensor you'll have to bypass it:

I can use the bypass for the crank, didnt want to. It is possible to cut and solder the 3 wires from the ek harness to the 2 wire plug on the b18 harness. One wire on the ek harness will not be used.

As for the o2 pin out, thats exactly what i am looking for. I remember seeing it before but didnt book mark it. Thanks for the link, i just pulled about 3 feet of the original secondary o2 wire from the integra doner shell, should be enough

In what car and ecu? If you don't run it on an obd2 ecu you'll throw a check engine light.
