Question about wheel fitment (98 civic coupe)
**I bought the car with the wheel//suspension like this so I can't give anymore detail than what I provide**
So i have a 98 civic coupe, right now it is tucking hard in the front and a bit in the back (sorry I couldnt tell you the drop specs)
The wheels are 17 x 7.5 on 215/40 tires. I have rubbing problems at full lock, when I hit bumps, passengers in the car etc. So I was thinking to raise the car a tad (I have adjustable coils I will be putting on) and put some smaller wheels to help with the rubbing
I am currently looking at xxr531 15 x 8 +20. Was thinking if those wheels wrapped in 195s or 205 would help with less rubbing. If not, any advice? I would like to minimize the rubbing without fully making my car look like a 4x4
Pics of said car to show wheels//drop (best pics i have atm, sry)
Front

Rear

thanks

I would assume less rubbing. Especially if you raise it a bit like you said.
Look at your struts. Should be a name or something on them?

Without a fair amount of rolling on the fenders/quarter panels, or some negative camber, you're not going to fit 15x8 +35's (let alone +20's) with proper sized tires.
15x7 ET38 is about as crazy as we would get... ET20 is going to be a problem......
I'd have you raise the car up as much as you can and test fit a 205/40R17 tire before anything else
