Default Rotors and pads

So I'm looking to upgrade my brakes come spring time for some track usage. Im deciding between brembo blanks or stop tech/centric blanks has anyone here used the centric blanks they just came out with their 125 high carbon rotor it looks interesting. As for pad's i'd like to stay away from hawk as everyone i know has been less than satisfied with them. I was thinking about trying carbotech's or performance friction can any one suggest some pads other than his or hp+ for street and occasional track use. This is for cdm 92 hatch si non abs

Definitely go with Brembo blanks. Though I'm sure the centric ones are fine. My good friend just put centric rotors and stoptech ceramic pads on his CTS-V.

Hard to screw up rotors, imo.

And hawks are pretty mixed reviews generally, dual duty folks seem to love the hawk HPS.

The Hawk ceramic would be a good choice as well.

Finding brake pads is mostly about compromise.

The stoptech blanks are half the price of the brembo, so I was really thinking about running them.
As for solbrother's I said I want to avoid hawk hps because my dad , my best friend, and brother have run them and never reallly like them.

As for pads I'd be looking at a compound in between a race pad and street pad, something that can operate at street temps.

If all goes as planned I will be tracking a few times in the summer so I'd like a pad that could take track abuse without fade, but still be good on the street.

So really I wanna know has anyone tried any pads besides hawks.

I use autozone ceramics for autocross/daily driving and they have pretty minimal dust. They aren't noisy at all, either.

They bite good on the autocross course when cold. I haven't had an aggressive pad yet, so not much to compare it to for ya. My next brake setup is a 1" bigger rotor with hawk HP+ pads to go with my current s2000 caliper setup on my DX civic. I've got to swap to EX knuckles to accommodate the larger rotor. Most of the autocrossers on the forum generally like the HP+.

Yeah I hear you, I was thinking about going with teg fronts basically a once inch bigger rotor, but since I'm saving up for my suspension I'm gonna wait and see how the si set up goes. Hopefully these 9.5 inch brakes stop me . The single cam vtec isn't too much powert

Integra front/rear brakes with decent rotors and a good pad are plenty for 99% of these cars.

That's what I thought too until I tried no name white box rotors *$^#&*#~! Never again. I've never seen anything warp so bad or so fast.

They'll stop you, but they leave a lot to be desired. I upgraded my 9.5 fronts on my Si hatch to Integra brakes (did another set for someone else too) much better setup. Leave the rears alone, they're exactly the same as the integra setup.

I said hard, not impossible

My Duralast rotors have been fine in the year+ I've driven them. Daily driving and autocross.
