went to where my car is and mocked up my harness to see what else needed extended and how much. ran across a few plugs that im not sure where they go and a sensor that may be from the egr not sure.
info is:
harness is from a d16z6 out of a 95 ex, engine is a jdm h22a obd1. egr has been removed and plated off. not sure what else is involved with the system.
this black sensor has a vacuum line going to the fpr i believe and is located in front of the intake manifold above the fuel rail.


this plug is located on the harness in back of the motor above the oil filter


next 2 pics are of the same plug. located on the dizzy side of motor behind the dizzy near where the thermostat would be(my thermostat housing and assc. stuff is currently removed for cleaning)

Hi,

Sensor shown is a TA sensor

1 pole plug for is oil pressure sensor next to the filter

4 pole plug is for the lambda sensor.

 

1. Evap purge
2. Oil pressure switch (activates red light in the gauge cluster) located on the back of the block
3. O2 sensor

 

so i am not seeing a plug on my harness from the d16z6 to attach to the evap purge solenoid. i understand it has to do with the charcoal canister. is this something i can remove all together? or is it needed and ill have to wire it in? just trying to get my harness straight before i put the motor in.
any help is appreciated

the other thing i noticed is that the jdm h22a does not have the vtec pressure sensor? is it in another location or just not used?

Just remove evap purge solenoid, i just went thru this on my lsvtec
