Painting Engine bay HELP!!
Need advice on best way to go about painting my engine bay with a rattle can! Sanding?How many coats? Cleaning? Want the best finish possible

How much time do you want to spend? If you're considering spending time sanding it...why use a a rattle can? Might as well just do it right...clean, sand, sand some more, and use real paint with a paint gun.
If not...just clean and put 2-4 coats on it.

You're an idiot for suggesting he use real materials to make his work actually worth the effort! Gosh! He should just keep building that castle on top of the swamp!
