I wanted to know if anyone had some kind of a review of one. I wanna get one but cant afford a OEM. Theyre made of Fiberglass just like the OEM ones. Any input?

 

They're...from eBay. So many catch phrases come to mind.

i have a knock off ctr wing (not from e-bay though) and i wouldn't recommend it the wing is good but the base plate is absolute junk dosn't sit flush the bolts have pulled through like 3 times now .

 

Some people have good experiences, some bad. You're flipping a coin.

 

The only think I`ve had any luck with is Ebay bumper lips...everything else from the cheap exhaust to the "OEM" bumper, either had horrible fitment, or just didm`t fit at all..

Like Libertariat said, it`s hit or miss...

Lemme help you...Save your pennies and get either an oem CTR wing, or buy one off the marketplace.

 

Depends how much is it? If it is relatively cheap then go for it.

 

This would be my advice.

I'd hate to spend $150 on a knockoff, $150 to get it painted, only to hate it 5 months later.

Spend $250-300 on a real one and be happier down the road.

 

Yea I think I will. Ive already spent $3000 on car parts last month alone, whats another $300

 

I've learned over the years that cheap parts often wind up being more expensive than the actual part you want. By the time you paint it, repair it, or sell it 2nd hand and buy what you should have gotten the first time you're just out that money/time.

 

i think most of these bad ebay reviews are due to people who do NO RESEARCH on the seller and buy the 1st thing they see. I myself have bought lips, coil overs, sway bars, steering wheels, headlights, tail lights, intakes, full exhausts WITH NO ISSUES AT ALL!!!!! I dont buy the cheapest nor the most expensive. I search, read feedback and compare with other sellers. everything ive gotten was a happy experience for me.

edit: I do plan on buying a ctr a ctr wing soon. i'll let you know how it turns out.

 

how much is it?? like everybody's been saying fitment and quality are always "if" (i speak from personall experiences) i just picked up an original type r from e-bay last week for $240 wich to me seems like a good price

If you paid $240 with shipping then yes that is cheap. Cuz ebay is usually $240 + $150 shipping from some 3rd world country lol

 

yep it was $240 total, in great condition too 'cause i've seen a few that are pretty beaten up and their still asking $300+
