4th gen ZC in 2000 Civic EX
hey everyone first time on here trying to get help with my 4th gen zc twin cam swapped into 00 civic ex. i talked to a few people and they said to use stock harness for the car ans convert the motor to obd2 so i did this got the injectors, alt, and a dizzy adaptor. i also got ecu jumper. the car was an auto i converted to 5 speed bc my zc is 5 speed. i dont have any fuel kicking on or anything. Im very new to the honda game got this far need some info on what could be the deal. i also couldnt figure out how to do the IAVC change. i know its just removing orange wire and moving one other on plug B just can figure out how to get wires to come out of the plug? help please!! thanks
I had this swap in my 95 dx it ran great! the ecu is P06,and i have the MSD blaster ss, witch im also confused about bc in the 95 there was a 3rd wire running to the key switch from the blaster ss. on the MSD website they only say there is two wires. so im lost with this thing lol
for this swap do i need to change them two wires on plug B for the auto to maunual swap? and if so how do you get the wires to pull out the plug with out breaking them or cutting?

ok thanks alot!! i found the first pic on here just not all the detail to get the wires out!! do you know off hand the stock dizzy for the 4th gen zc ? and does the white tab come the whole way out or just pop up a little ?
does anyone know what color wire is the power wire on the ignition switch in the 00 civic ex? would i be right by running the power wire from the MSD blaster ss (PN8207) to the power wire under the dash on the ignition switch? I know nothing about msd but i have power to the blaster ss have power to the starter but it just clicks in the ecu when i turn it over??
so i called msd everything on coil and dizzy is good have power at starter it just dont click or crank over just clicks in the ecu... what else would keep this thing from starting ??
ok so far the ground wires has been my problem. the ground to the motor, and the thrmostat, i had hooked up. so know i just run a wire from the trans any were to the frame? any other grounds that i should know about to make this run?
Haven't done any engine swaps have you? A DOHC ZC (depending on exactly which one it is) fits exactly like a D-series, same mounts, uses a D-series transmission etc. The only thing a little more complicated is the electrical situation and even that isn't exactly rocket science. Also, comparing D and B to K-series is laughable. D and B-series engines are basically interchangeable using OEM Honda mounts, electrical is more or less the same as well. The K-series on the other hand is a completely different animal.
i know nothing about cars done this whole thing by myself and with you guys help!! the trans ground was the prob, and yeah it has to be a thick gage wire i burnt the first one up!!lol but after that she fired right up!! thanks for all the help everyone!
