Default Does my 97 Civic EX have a swapped D16Y7 engine?

I'm doing a mini me swap and I'm looking at the parts list and I noticed the pictures of the parts look like what I have. It's an EX so I know it used to have the Y8(it's running the Y7 and the ECU is still for the Y8) but for unknown reasons the previous owner swapped it to a D16Y7. Does it look like I need to worry about anything other than Gaskets, Fluids and the actual head?

I'm using Lillowek's DIY for the mini-me. In the beginning of it he has a picture of everything needed as well as a list. IM, TB, Injectors, rail etc. I don't know any history on this car it was sold to a local shop by me who I then bought if off of a month later. But it looks like I don't need to buy anything other than the Gaskets, Fluids and the actual head. Does it look like I'm right in assuming that? Seeing as how that's not the factory IM that comes on the Y7

Sure thing Ron.

Arthas - The block is a Y7. Everything else appears to be for a Y8. I'm just making sure my '98 EX has what I think it has seeing as how I come from a Chevy family and they all think Honda is crap...

512DOGG - I am, just getting my parts ordered and the more I go into this the less I'm finding out I have to order

Make sure those fuel injectors are for the EX (needs higher fuel flow if in VTEC or else it'll run lean, or so I've read)
You'll also need the VTEC solenoid and knock sensor with appropriate wires

Yea I ordered the Solenoid when I got the Head. The ECU is for a Y8 so figuring out which wires I need shouldn't be too hard.

Bone stock motor y7 and y8 z6 look all identical except the intake manifold and dipstick placement and obd-1 vs one-2 , that's it o and the z6 have round cb chamber and the y7-8 square . Other then this same displacement same size same mount same linkage same trans everything!

Yeah that's what SI stands for sport injection, I just found this out as well.

Actually, no. The Y7 has a ****hair more displacement, the Z6 runs a slightly higher CR, the Z6 is more rev-happy, and the Y8 has a higher vtec engagement. There are differences in the motors.
