I have a 94 cx and the cluster does not have a tach, can any one who has done it help me out. I will be using one from an lx. I have not taken it apart yet so I don't really know what I'm working with yet.

 

so is your civic an auto?

 

its plug and play. take off it with screws so the bretzel will come out and pop out your clock and emergency lights out and 4 screws holding the cluster

CX & DX models did not come with a tach from the factory. Just replace it with any LX or EX model and you will be good to go. If you want to get fancy, you can get a JDM cluster....but be prepared to pay $150+ for one.
