i have a 95 dx (no tach cluster) i need a tach and dont want a 7" "monster tach" what cluster do i need?

u need a 92-95 civic EX cluster. You can also use the cluster that comes out of the 92-95 civic hb si, Both automatic or manual will work. Its just plug and play.

Yep...all you need is an LX/EX/Si cluster from a 92-95 Civic...looks like this:

Your redline depends on the ECU. The LX cluster comes with a 6,400 RPM redline...the EX/Si clusters come with a 7,200 RPM redline

Are you sure the LX comes with a tach?

The LX is 1.5 and redlines at 64k. I only remember the 1.6 models, EX/SI, coming with a tach. I can't remember about the VX though.

Oh ****, I forgot about the VX. VX, LX, EX, Si come with tachs.

yeah you could do and ex or if you wanted some race and style you could go with an si from a 99-00. There was just a thread posted yesterday on how to do it. Seach for it and i am sure that you will find it. It has pic, instructions, the whole bit. It looks awesome man, youd love it.

sweet amber lights looks damn good, i htink im goin to do that when i swap so VX LX EX and SI all have tachs. why didnt the DX have it?

Because its not a necessary gauge, and the DX doesnt have anything standard. The CX doesn't have it either.

get the SIR cluster...hit up ebay therey are getn cheaper....u can even get 4dr SIR white face amber ones for like 110bux...just has a pic of a little 4dr car on it but other then that same thing
