m&h or mt slicks
I've used MT and they were good. I've had friends who use MH and they performed similar. A lot of people prefer the MT but this year I'm going to be trying the MH 24.5x9.5x13
i have always used m and h but noticedalot and majority use mt jujst was wondering if there was a reason i didnt know about i also was thinking about trying the m and h 24.5x9.5x13 as well just wanted to get some input before i ordered them
if you do a search, a lot of people like the MT compound and for the 13" users, the MT 9" tire is wider than the MH 8.5". I decided to try the MH 9.5" because it's cheaper and the tire should be just as wide if not wider than the MT 9"
One other thing I went with the MH is that John is a real person I can talk to and he treats me good. I can't get that with the mickeys. Most, if not all people get their mickeys from a middle man. Nothing wrong with that but I like that fact that a company owner is out there with the racers and helping them any way he can.

M&H FTMFW. As a company, and as a tire. M/T has gotten a little too proud or greedy.
I actually found it funny. My dad was shopping for 33x16s for his car, and I remember when Mickey Thompson was one of the cheapest, and Firestone and Goodyear were top dollar. Goodyear was actually significantly cheaper than Mickey Thomspon. F that.

i agree john is a good guy to deal with they also measure the run out of the tires and pair them up close as possible just didnt know if the mickeys compound difference would yield better 60fts
i went with MH just because like everyone said, John is real nice and communicate with me and even called me to confirm my purchase eventhough im like 16 hours ahead of him.
Nothing wrong with MT.

M&H gets my vote. Everyone will tell you that John service is second to none and its true. I was using 13" x 8" hoosiers and switched to the 13" x 9.5" and they are huge! can't wait to see what my 60fts will be with them.
plus the discount for H-T members is a nice bonus.

John at MandH. He's dedicated to the racer, and really dedicated to the import racer. He's known to show up at races, call people randomly just to make sure everyone is happy with his product. That alone is well worth the use of his tires.
M&H
Just sold my 24.5x8.5 slicks that were a little over 10 years old.
We must of put 50+ runs on them and they were still able to cut high 1.5 to low 1.6 60fts

I will be running the MT slicks this summer 24.5x9x13 even though I will be running the M&H bias plys for street use.
John over at M&H is a great guy with top notch customer service.
John at M&H is the best person I have dealt with in the industry, hands down. Customer service is awesome. I also had better luck with 24.5x8.5x15 M&H slicks than I did with 24.5x8x13 MT's
John from M&H has always catered to the import community. Me and my buddies only run M&H tires not only because we're loyal but because of the customer support/quality/performance.
As said...John @ M&H offers completely unbeatable customer service and is a GREAT guy to deal with! not only do my tires hook hard as anything, I will NEVER go to another company just because of the excellent experience I had thanks to this man....cant go wrong!!!
