My radio station doesnt work..
I HAVE A 96 ACCORD (CD5) AND ON MY RADIO I PUT THE F.M STATIONS ALL I HEAR IS STATIC.. TRIED LOOKING FOR THE ANTENNA BUT NO LUCK.. I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE FUSE BUT CANT FIND IT EITHER.. CAN ANYONE HELP ME HERE.. IM LIKE A NEWBIE AT THE MOMENT.. LOST..
Sounds like your antenna connection is missing.
Can you pull the HU out far enough to see or feel if the coax is connected? Did it work before? What changed from the time it worked until now?

i believe there is no fuse invovled in this if all the other components of the radio are functioning. it is definitely the antenna, check if your car's antenna is tightly screwed to the pole or check behind the radio for the antenna connection.. it is usually just a connection similar to an rca male terminal, just a bit larger.
If I remember correctly the antenna in some of the 96 Accords is located in the rear window. If you have had the glass replaced with aftermarket that could be why. There should be a connector located at the rear under the head liner. Check that connection and also check that the antenna coax cable is still inserted to the back of the head unit. Most times as long as the coax is inserted into the head unit you should get reception.
ya you might be right.. back window.. i was told the same thing.. what should the connector look like and what you mean the coax cable..? where the head unit...

The head unit is your actual stereo unit. If you pull it out you should see a thick shielded black wire that looks like old TV cable. That is a coax cable and it should be connected to the radio.
thanks ima go check this out right now and ill update in a second.. m=
It would be the only connector at the rear of the head liner. If I remember correctly it is a black single wire connector.
