ok so i took my car to a shop about a week ago so they could finish it up for me .. they had to take the head off and while it was off they ran all the head codes that was stamped on it .. not sure what they were but i know for a fact it was a p2j-1 head .. got a call this morning and the guy told me that the head i had was a euro y8 head that was made for boost.. now i know that no factory honda head was MADE for boost .. so this is my question ...


wth is he talking about ?? is there a head from europe or some where else that is made like this ?? he also told me this head was worth over 800$ .. mind you this is only a d16y8 single cam head with nothing special done to it performance wise .. maybe only a valve job ..

 

Get your car and take it to another mechanic.
Made for boost. $800 head. I almost spit out my coffee.

 

they are actually the only people that were willing to look at it in the area of youngstown ohio .

 

This reminds me of the guy that said my Ebay headlights were worth $500.
