hi my friend has a cb7 and he needs some info on why his car sputters going down the road and it is a auto

 

well more info will be needed. is the car modified? has the car had a tune up? i know the cb7 i have has this issue because it sat for 2 years. after a tune-up and bleeding the brakes the car works great besides the wrecked rear.

that could be the issue. how long has he had the car? did it sit for a long time? or just started doing this?

More information would help also. Very possible that the lower spark plug tube seals are leaking oil and getting into the tubes. This causes increased resistance from spark plug wire to spark plug which in turns causes driveability problems.
Just a thought, but very possible.
