I have a 99 Honda civic si-g it has a d16y8 motor in it. The idle is unsteady, it has a single over headcam but it's reading on the computer that it has a dual, anyway i can make it read SOHC? It has the original ECU in it, im quite sure. If that is does not cure the unsteady idle, im open to any other ideas.

 

Reading on what computer?
First two things you're supposed to do is bleed the system of air then clean the IACV.

 

Correct me if im wrong guys, but you should be running a p2T.
