Is there anyone who makes projector headlights for an 86 civic 4 door i have H.I.Ds in but they dont look as good as some friends with projectors any help would be cool

they have premade projector headlights which arent meant for hids.. if you want the best output then do a retrofit..

Could purchase some cheap eBay projector lights and then swap out the shitty projectors for some true HID projectors or if there's aftermarket OE lights, could purchase those and retrofit them, cause usually aftermarket lights come with plastic headlight lenses instead of glass which would be better

Depends, you want non fluted headlights, of which a majority are plastic.
The fluted ones aren't meant for H.I.D's.

Yeah you wanna make sure you get the clear glass lenses. The heat from a true HID setup will discolor (and possibly melt) the plastic lenses.

I've been looking for aftermarket housings for the '86 CRX style, and so far I haven't seen any.

glass will actually distort the color a little bit.. clear plastic would be best.. the clear glass is fine also..

At 35W and greater efficiency, HID setups produce a lot less heat than the 55W halogen bulbs they replace.
