Default 91 hatch si

i have a 91 civic hatch si with the stock 1.6. its my dd and i dont have the time to pull the motor and build it, its smokes rather badly. im saving up $$ to get my buddies d16z6 from his 94 civic sedan. i already know id would have to wire upo the vtec. will my tranny just bolt straight to it? should the stock harness hook up to the motor? im just trying to do this right the first time. any and every tip i can get will be greatly appreciated.

the price of all the jumpers might steer you away.. but trust me.. its so much easier and so much less of a hassle to buy the jumpers.. when i went obd1 i bought everything from rywire.. and my ecu from phearable.net and i ended up paying close to $450 i think.. but i would do it over in a heart beat.. (actually I did) but this time i bought all used stuff from the market place.. my ecu jumper.. my ecu.. and i got my dizzy from distributor king w/ lifetime warrenty.. and im making my own dizzy jumper cuz thats easy..

swap a JDM DOHC ZC into it - bolts right in with minor wiring change to your harness - use your ECU - nothing else to buy - ZC has more horsepower than a D16Z6
