Default A6 block z6 head compression number problem

Well I had my cylinder head rebuilt and after installing it ran fine for a few hours then it sat for a month. And it would not start at all and once started it missed horribly. Numbers on compression came up as follows 1,2,3,4 185,0,190,205 cylinder 2 ended up having a bent valve even though it had been rebuilt and entrant valves had been replaced. Well I got another valve lapped it in and put cylinder head back on and did not replace head gasket seeing how it was only used for a few hours now the compression came up as follows 1,2,3,4 185,180,150,205 does anyone think that could just simply be me being a tight *** and not replacing the gasket it is a metal 3 layer btw

running or not, the gasket was crushed for approximately a whole month. If that happen to me, i would have replaced the 50 dollar head gasket just to be safe. I would have also used a graphite gasket and not the metal layer version. just my opinion.

also, what the hell are you asking exactly?

Yeah, reusing a H.G. is a no-no.....you could've spent the extra money on it while you had the head off again for the valve and installed a new one on with the reinstallation. Unfortunately, you're gonna have to take it off again for a new H.G. It's atleast you're main problem....no telling if there's any other lingering situations.

I was wondering if it would cause the different compression numbers soniol try throwing another gasket on it and get an oem Honda one instead of the felpro one and just get it done right this time just wasn't sure since it were metal if it woul cause the compression check issue
