Default Edelbrock Performer x VS Victor x

Which one do ya'll recommend? I heard victor is more ofr the mid range, and performer for top end. And not to mention the fact its $100 cheaper.

Which one is preferred and why?

I run a fully ported and polished victor x from Renown Performance. How ever i would like to see the performer x and what it can do. Heck contact Renown and have them port one for you.

Also your gonna wanna share your set up so we can accurately suggest a quality performing manifold for you.

For 300 just use a stock manifold.

Longer runners=lower rpm power increase
Larger Plenum=higer rpm power increase

If your only revving to stock or 8,200 rpm, go with the Performer X = Power-band 4500-8200

"The Performer X intake manifolds for Acura and Honda's are engineered for street/strip applications where peak torque and horsepower gains are realized between 4500-8200 RPM. The larger-than-stock plenum volume and 9" runner length are tuned for producing peak power at high RPM."

If your going to be revving to 10,000 rpm go with the Victor X = Power-band 7000-10,000

"Optimized for maximum power from 7,000 to 10,000 RPM, the Victor X manifold is designed for turbo and all-motor applications. Engineered for high performance, this manifold has four additional bosses for nitrous or added fuel injectors"

This is regardless of if your turbo or N/A that's what range they were designed for. Hope this clears up some confusion about the difference in these two manifolds.

Op aftermarket manifold will increase over stock, perform will be suitable for stock redline and the power your looking for. Victor is for larger turbo and power goals

Over 500hp = victorX, Magnus, golden eagle

Just my $.02

300whp is 300whp. if might give you a little more low end and mid range power but stock will work fine for 300

Thanks. All it says on it is JG Edlebrock on it. I have had it for a while and just forgot which one I had. It worked great when I had 384whp and it still flows great now at 515whp. Hoping it will still flow good at 600+. Good mani for the price.

Is there someone who knows victor x manifold capacity ? I want to compare it with skunk2 ultra street manifold which is 1.8 liter and if you use spacer it will be 2.3 liter.
