Lsvtec hatch 56trim, with hondata S300, i JUST got it, only issue is if it sees too much vac for instance down shift, or rev to 5-6k than let it engine brake, than i go to push the gas back down, it wont rev, instead it trys to kill it self. It will NOT WOT , if i give it VERY little gas it will start to try to climb in revs, but you give it too much and it completly kills its self and goes back to idle?

Any help would be great, my first honda, not first boosted car.

Was thinkin, tps, iacv, or map, it has a 3bar map.

It had TWO tps connectors, one connector it wont rev past like 4-5k, and than goes into this weird no rev mode, the other will rev great, and much smoother, but than will go into this mode with too much enginebrake.

guy got it from said theres now tps sensors becasue of the swap?

trying to get s300 to work, but having issues getting my usb to work with its drivers. any help?

 

Speculating here:

Check the ECU for any faulty wiring or codes. There may be some issues with the wiring for the injectors (it sounds like the car is getting no fuel, or not enough).

Check the injectors, if they're a bit clogged they may need to be cleaned, and if they cant spray enough fuel that could be a problem.

Thats actually all i can think of. Other people will post with better ideas, most likely.

 

i would think it would throw a cel though? some kinda missfire or something? But no CELS at all.

 

N if they where cloged why would the car run just fine babying, as soon as it sees high vac/engine brake thats the ONLY time it does this?

 

sounds like you have the map and tps plugs backwards and may need to calibrate your tps sensor.
also hope you didnt fry your ecu.

 

map is a gm 3bar totally different connector.

Got these codes

10 IAT
20 electrical load detector

now car is surging when its idleing.

 

Also, check your mechanical timing. The surging can be caused by the IAT or ELD.

 

anyone have a base map for lsvtec with gm 3bar map sensors? n 650s

You would seriously run someone else's BASEMAP, on your boosted LSV?

I'm starting to understand why you are having a problem.

 

sometimes u get an eld code if your ecu is fried.

 

so got the guys tune calibration back when it was tunned at 3k feet, runs alot better, but still havin that issue with the throttle, Only dtc is AIT sensor fail, THAN i got a RANDOM MAP sensor code, So for some reason when there is DTCs it wont let me go live (datalog) only for a few seconds than shuts off, and keeps telling me i have dtcs i try to clear them but it wont let me go live to datalog? Anyways the short period i did have it up, i made the car do its issue again, while lookin at map sensor, map senor FROZE at a random vac, did it again and boosted the car, FROZZE at 5.5 psi, and would not go back to vac readings, So turned car off watched map sensor, TPS sensor worked, and map sensor is stuck on -29 with car OFF, my car map sensor reads 0 when car off, so guessing the GM 3 bar is done? Also i guess ait sensor needs replaced as well. The ait sensor reads liek 126 or 128 something like that when its pluged or unpluged, when its pluged in the rad fan runs, when i unplug it, rad fan turns off.

So i guess start with ait and map sensor and see how it goes from there.

Also why is it that it wont data log with DTCS?

 

map wires have 5.01 signal, ait wires have 12.4v signal these are ovbiously just the feed wires going to sensor unpluged, Ait sensor run a 12v sensor?

I know map is right. So map sensor is cooked, but ait lead wires are showing a 12v signal? this right? and anyways to test ohms in the ait sensor?
