I know this seems little, but since I am trying to do a restoration, and the service manual doesn't address this issue, I'm putting it out to all of you.

I have a 89 Si and am re-doing the windshield washers. I have the original washer bottle and pumps. I'm assuming that 1 pump is for the front and the other is the rear.
Since my car didn't have any of this, I am at a loss as to go about routing the tubing, how it is spliced, and if I am correct about the 2 pumps.

Thanks in advance for any info, and/or pictures you can provide of a stock set-up.

 

The front tubing is routed on the left side shock tower to a t-junctionand up to the hood sprayers. pretty simple. The rear is routed through the cab of the car under the door jam plastic on the left side and through to the back. I would hope that plumbing is still there, because it might be a bitch to route all the way back if it isn't. Routing through the stock location would require removal of some plastic inner body panels through the rear of the car.

I believe the more powerful of the 2 pumps is actually the front, to service the dual spray nozzles. the rear doesn't need quite as much power with the single nozzle.
