Icon7 Checked out a 1997 Accord 5 speed: Can I get some input?

Sup all. Im selling my EK hatch for something newer but I need a car for the mean time.

I checked out a dark green 97 Accord and it was pretty dirty but could be cleaned up nicely. Theyre asking $2500 and it has a clean title. I believe its Ex since it has a moon roof with the visor.

Here is what I found wrong.
-Grinds second, if I double clutch it doesnt. Not a harsh grind, but a typical grind.
-Passenger handle broken. It still opens the door but you have to hold it down.
-Driver window doesn't roll down, it clicks as if the motor is struggling. All 3 others roll down fine.
-ABS light is on, CEL isnt though so thats a good sign.

Besides that it drove good and all other gears were good. I talked her down to $1700. At fist she declined but later texted me accepting my offer. What do you guys think, would it be a good deal?
Ill have the car for maybe 3 months and hoping on re selling for a profit.

ABS light is not a good sign and is most often $$ to fix. Could be something as little as low fluid but I'm wagering it's a modulator on its way out.

Door handles are a relatively simple fix - you can get them at TAS Auto for interior ones, I'd hit up eBay for exterior ones.

Windows are a common issue - probably need to replace the motor and clean then lubricate and grease up all the tracks for all the windows.

You don't mention mileage and it appears to be a EX. I'm not sure about your market but I wouldn't personally pay more than $1700 for it. If you know a mechanic in the area you trust I'd have them look it over. Honda can do a pre-purchase inspection on it for $70 and will detail everything wrong with the car.

Good vintage. Bad situation. Avoid.

It wont affect the braking any? I dont plan on keeping this car for long, just need something for the mean time.

Yeah its the exterior passenger door.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Honda makes the worst power windows ever.

It has 220k miles and yeah its an Ex for the moon roof.
I dont know any mechanics since I just moved here but I gave it a thorough inspection to the best of my ability. It seems to be leaking from the distributor o ring but thats an easy fix. Motor wise it runs really well and idles great.
Bold.
