confused..
hello everyone, newbie here, hope everyone is doin ok,
im been searching for an answer for my question in google and in this site, i could not clarify my question,
if your timing belt snapped, and lets just say no damage happen to engine,i wanted to change the broken timing belt, how would i put the head and the crank in top dead center? coz im confused, as the first step in changing timing belt is by putting it on TDC, i was looking at the drive belts, is that the only i need to use to put it on TDC? lets just say ur doing a normal maintenance, when you put the engine on TDC using the drivebelts, does the timing belt inside spins as well and place itself on TDC? now i also want to know if the timing belt is broken, the drive belts put the outside on TDC,what happens in the inside where the timing belt is?
sorry for confusing you guys, thats how im trying to explain my question..
Thank you! hoping for your guys kind response
