Need help car wont start

Default Need help car wont start

My car is a 1994 Accord EX 5speed(mods are the basic bolt on and 65 shots on Zex also MSD 6a)
Heres is the problem when I try to start my car all it does is tic tic tic etc. I change the sparks plug, rotor button, new MSD coil, new sparks plug wire, adn a new distributor but I still dont get any sparks from the plug help please why am I not getting in sparks to start my car

Try the obvious first. Make sure all the fuses aren't blown. If it is making a ticking sound when you try to start it, then it might be the starter. Good luck!

The starter seems find somehow there is no spark in the spark plug I think that my problem

check that your spark plug wires are routed correctly from the distributor. When i first did a spark wire change many years ago, i f'ed up the routing and that car wouldn't - same symptoms. Also realize that some aftermarket cap & rotors just suck ***. Your rotor might not be actually touching the cap conduction plates. Reinstall the stock iginition coil if all that doens't work cuase i've heard poor things about MSD coils lately....

edit: i also just realized you put in a (new?) distributor? If the distributor arm wasn't aligned correctly, THAT would be the hugest culprit of all. Your screwed until you can get that right IF that's what it is....

that happened to me just this semester. i thought it was my starter but when i got under the hood i discovered my negative battery cable had come loose somehow. haha
