It's confusing the way you explain the issue, is it hitting redline early or you're just saying ther power band has moved around?

the problems confusing.. i guess the power band has moved around. Before the upgrades i built power and shifted at 8000, now it falls on its face a 7200, it will go past that but slower than *****. seems slower throughout entire rpm range, but havent been to track to compare times

This is what happens when you buy into the hype and start slapping on parts thinking that you gain horsepower with them. Skunk2's marketing department needs an award.
Your stock ECU doesn't know how to compensate for the change in air/fuel so it does what it can. If you want to get any benefit out of these items you need to get tuned or at the very least a basemap for your setup.

I just got my hands on an ITR IM and TB but I won't be installing it until I get my itr cams/springs/retainers. For the simple reason that I don't want to have happen what's happening to the OP. If there's only 1 single thing I've learned from honda-tech it's GET A TUNE WHEN YOU GET PERFORMANCE PARTS!

Single stage VTECH? Damn.

The engine shouldn't be falling flat on it's face just because of the skunk2 manifold...especially at high RPM. I used a ITR manifold on my B16A and it just made more power up top. The way you worded the issue is confusing.

You're saying that around 7100RPM or so, the motor just stops making power? That shouldn't happen with a throttle body and manifold install...even with the stock ECU.

You might have done something wrong. Are you sure all the sensors are plugged in properly?

You could try a fuel pressure regulator to richen the mix up a little. Or use like a stock ITR ECU or something.

If I were you I would either port match the tb to the intake manifold or put the b16 tb back on.

I believe all sensors are plugged in and functional including knock... I have no engine lights.. I Do also have an AEM fuel rail with B&M Fuel Regulator, did not seem to help much. seems that no matter how i ajusted it all it changed is weither it bogged on low end or bogged highend. I have since reinstalled factory tb, has made a lil better, not much though

What type of intake and filter are you using?

ummm not sure on brands notihing special before throttle body, just a tube and knockoff k&N cone, they were on the dseries that came out of the car. i have stock tb on it right now, had blox tb and skunkz manifold, but removed blox for troubleshooting.. Would a intake leak on the manifold sound likely. im unsure of a torque pattern on the manifold, maybe? ... its reving slightly at idle..

It's possible you have a vacuum leak. Got any pics of the set up? Did you remove the TPS? it needs to be rotated and set to a certain voltage.

ill get some pics up shortly, tps is set .5 closed and 4.7 wide open. I guess the next step is to replace manifold gasket and retorque manifold.. is a crisscross pattern acceptable.

Im sorry im not sure how i have given any new information that is that helpfuil... grumblemarc

So check for a vacuum leak!

just so you realize the p30 IM is one of the best intakes out there. especially for your engine.

so go back to stock. do you have any supporting mods for this waste of an idea?

Is VTEC turning on? I'm sure you can hear whether it is or isn't. If VTEC was inoperational, the power would suffer up top.

If the car revs up a bit at idle, you might have a vacuum leak...but it would have to be a pretty damn big vacuum leak to affect anything at WOT on a speed density car. Think of the throttle body as a 65mm vacuum leak at WOT.
