Okay so I killed my D15b7 swap and now Im trying to swap in a big bad DOHC. I found myself a obd0 b18a1 swap (out of 90 integra) and the only parts I have for the swap so far:

New OBD2a engine harness
B series mounts (minus rear mount bracket)

what else will I need to swap this obd0 motor into my obd2 chassis? Axles? Mounts? Wiring? etc.


all help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

 

What car and model is it?

 

My car is a 98 civic EX.
donor car is a 90 integra GS.

 

Just use your wiring harness, you need a hydro transmission, swap mounts, linkage, a 98 integra ls ecu, use obd2 injectors, you need a t bracket off a 99-00 si, a obd2 altranator, integra axles, am I missing anything,

 

Why not just do a swap that is legal?

 

Youre going to put a 22 year old engine into a 1998??

if u keep it OBD2 i believe you u will also need to swap the oil pump over for the crank sensor. the obd0 block will not have this.

 

Depends a lot on what ECU you will be running? Which one do you plan on doing?

 

i am currently doing the same. except i just changed the altenator and dizzy plugs to obd0 and then changed the injector with my single cam ones to run obd2a injectors.

but no crank :\

 

So you're using an OBD0 distributor with an OBD2 ECU?

 

Yeah but it works. I got it running a few days ago but just need new mounts and tps sensor
