I drive a 2006 rsx base model and the heater doesn't work. A few days ago it was working fine but now it doesn't. I let the car warm up but still no hot air was blowing and when I drive its still blows cold air. Can anyone help?

 

Check the thermostat

 

i had the same problem with an rsx..i checked under the center dash and found that the wire that was hooked up to the vent motor was off so it wasnt switching it to hot just left it on cold

 

the thermostat works fine.

i'll check and see if it is connected.

 

I'm having the same problem with my ep3, it seems like the cable that switches the hcv from hot to cold is seized, I popped the cable off and the hcv moves freely...

 

pop the hood... put it on cold and look at the valve... then switch it to hot and see if the valve opened up

 

I've heard something with the relay's go bad on these cars.

 

or do you mean the blower motor resistor? I've seen talks about those going bad... but they only control the fan speeds

 

like where under the dash? On the side by the mode controller where the acelerador pedal is at? Or actually under the dash? Sorry I just really need too fix this before it snows I live in Colorado.
