Icon2 turbo build helpp lsv turbo

im sending my block to get sleeve and going to have it bore to 82mm i want to know whats better a 9:1 or a 10:1 compression, i have a top mount header with a garrett t3 exhaust and the intake is a A/R.70 and has a 4 inch down pipe. i got a gsr ported head with a victor x manifold and 72mm tb and 1000cc injectors, im looking to run a 11.6 or 11.7 at the 1/4 mile (want to stay in outlaw category) need some help on what to boost to get to the 11.6 NEED HELP!!!!!!

We've got guys here on standard Mini-rams and Ramhorns doing low-to-mid 10 seconds without all of the 4 " downpipe and 72mm TB. There are people here doing 11.2 just on 440whp alone. You don't need all that.

Keep it simple..

i just bought this turbo kit for cheap couldnt say no lol, my car is all motor right now and its running 12.1 but want to got with boost and hit a mid 11

Ah yes.. if you bought it for "cheap" then that just overrides everything in terms of what you want the car to do, right?

Yeah, a top mount is kind of overkill for making the power you need to run those types of times. I would try to sell it if I were you, try to make a small profit. Check this out http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/go...manifolds.html , they have all sorts of cool manifolds that will help you reach that goal. I've even seen my friend use the "mini-ram" manifold and run low 11's.
