Has anyone used there products? seems a little too good to be true. they offer cheep remanufactured & new racks with free shipping and 3yr. warranty. just looking for some info before pulling the trigger.

 

you just need a $10 bushing to completely rebuild a manual rack.

taking the rack in and out just to get to that $10 bushing is 90% of the work.

 

I actually just bought an ebay steering rack for around the same price, supposedly new. The previous owner of my car drove around with torn boots and then tried to place a giant clamp on the steering rack when the bushing started to make noise. Needless to say, the whole housing is mangled and has more sand inside of it than a beach. New bushing started to clunk in a month. Dumb on my part for not getting a good used rack right then and there and rebuilding it.

I will be installing my ebay steering rack over spring break and will update you with the quality (or lack of) of it. Don't forget to do the rack adjustment, by the way.
